2. Xavier Crawford

Another name that got called earlier than expected was Xavier Crawford. Desmond Trufant sat out, which led to Kindle Vildor across from Jaylon Johnson. However, Johnson was pulled and quickly replaced by Xavier Crawford, who played from the first quarter into the fourth.

Crawford played outside and then moved into the slot. More than that, he saw his name called on special teams early. He was on the first punt coverage unit and found himself plenty of snaps on special teams.

Crawford has inside-outside versatility and special teams prowess which means he is on the radar to make the roster.
