1. Khyris Tonga

An interesting development late into OTAs was the signing of Mike Pennel. The veteran just recently played in the Super Bowl and was not bad, so the idea would be that by signing him, they signed a player who could make the roster.

The first thought was that Eddie Goldman had an insurance policy in Mike Pennel. The second is that if Goldman is fine and makes the roster, would Pennel push Tonga. So far that has not been the case.

Next. Could Elijah Wilkinson start at RT?. dark

Tonga started firmly over Pennel and outplayed him against better competition. The older rookie looks like he can contribute in year one, which is what the Chicago Bears drafted him for. We should only expect him to solidify his draft stock in the coming weeks.
