Chicago Bears Wide Receiver: Allen Robinson

2021 Ranking: WR11 (Overall ADP: 32.5)

Although the purpose of this article is to see who to ‘buy high’ on I still consider Allen Robinson to be someone that has a lower ADP than deserved. Similar to Darnell Mooney’s reasoning for inconsistent play, Allen Robinson has played with lower-end quarterbacks his whole career.

Now, with a new quarterback situation, along with playing on a contract year, Allen Robinson has true potential to be a top-WR candidate in fantasy. Even with poor quarterback play last year, Allen Robinson finished a hair outside the top-10 wide receivers in fantasy, as Robinson placed 11th on ESPN’s 2020 fantasy football wide receiver rankings.

Allen Robinson’s 2020 stats:

16 games, 151 targets, 102 receptions, 1,250 yards, 6 TDs

While Allen Robinson’s stock is still high, you can buy him even higher knowing that all things are pointing to Robinson having an even better year than prior seasons.

Similar players above Allen Robinson’s 2021 ADP:

  • Keenan Allen (WR9, overall ADP: 28.7)2020 Season:
    14 games, 147 targets, 100 receptions, 992 yards, 8 TDs
  • D’Andre Swift (RB15, overall ADP: 29.7)2020 Season:
13 games, 114 rushes, 521 rushing yards, 8 rushing TDs, 46 receptions, 357 receiving yards, 2 receiving TDs
  • Terry McLaurin (WR10, overall ADP: 31.7)2020 Season:
    15 games, 134 targets, 87 receptions, 1,118 yards, 4 TDs

As you can see, those above Robinson don’t have much higher production, if higher, and when looking at each player’s situation, it seems like Robinson has the highest ceiling.
