4 Chicago Bears tumbling down depth charts during preseason
By Joseph Herff
Chicago Bears Ledarius Mack, Outside Linebacker
The brother of Khalil Mack, Ledarius Mack is seeing his potential practice squad spot in jeopardy with the emergence of Charles Snowden. Mack only played two snaps in the preseason game to Snowden’s 15 despite being ahead of him on the depth chart.
Mack, like his brother, came from the University of Buffalo. Unfortunately, he didn’t quite live up to his brother’s talent as he didn’t start even as a senior for the team. Surprisingly enough, the Bears kept him around on the practice squad for the 2020 season hoping that maybe they could turn him into something given his brothers’ talent.
Snowden additionally made the most of his snaps as he registered two tackles and a sack on an impressive stunt from him and LaCale London. He made a great play and showed incredible speed and twitch to get to the quarterback.
