5 Chicago Bears with most to gain in preseason Week 2

2. Jalen Tabor

Teez Tabor came out of Florida as a cornerback but failed to adjust to the NFL. Now, he is a safety and was one of the most active safeties on the Bears defense last weekend. He was in the box, back deep, in the slot, and of course on special teams, which is his realistic path to the roster.

After one strong week, the question becomes where does Tabor stands. Marqui Christian saw just as much work as Tabor, and Jordan Lucas had a big role on special teams. There is a good chance only one of these three makes the final roster.

Tabor, Lucas, and Christian will likely duel it out all the way through the next two weeks, but you have to believe that there is a chance for any of them to separate themselves this weekend.
