Cornerback

As noted, five cornerbacks are likely to make the roster, and it is more realistic than six corners make it than six safeties. In this group, Jaylon Johnson is joined by Desmond Trufant, Duke Shelley, and Kindle Vildor.

This once again means one and potentially two roster spots on the line. The names competing for this spot include Artie Burns, Thomas Graham, Xavier Crawford, and Tre Roberson. With four options, they may elect two from this group over Christian or Tabor as well.

Either way, all four are going to see the field plenty. Burns came back from an injury and maybe the leader as of now. However, Crawford has played the most snaps on defense and special teams while Graham is a rookie with draft status and a four-year contract on his side.

This is another spot that will be decided in the final game, or practices before cut down day.
