Bears Game Saturday: Bears vs Titans odds and prediction for NFL Preseason Week 3 game

The Chicago Bears will play their final preseason game tomorrow versus the Tennessee Titans. We already know that Andy Dalton will not play in this game and that he will be the opening day starter versus the Los Angeles Rams. This means that Justin Fields will get the start, but how many other starters will we actually see in this game?

Allen Robinson playing is doubtful at this point. Let us hope Fields at least gets to see a starting offensive line in front of him tomorrow. For one, we need to see what Jason Peters can do since he is 39 years old and has not been in training camp until very recently. Germain Ifedi and James Daniels also came back from recent injuries. I am sure that Matt Nagy and offensive line coach Juan Castillo wants to see what this offensive line can do collectively.

Preseason games are always difficult to gauge from a performance standpoint. Even taking into account over/unders and which team actually wins can also be difficult. This is mostly because we don’t know for sure which players will play and for how long they will be on the field.

Going into this game, the Chicago Bears are 1-1 with a close win over the Miami Dolphins and an embarrassing loss to the Buffalo Bills. The Titans on the other hand are 2-0 with dominant wins over the Falcons and Buccaneers.

Bears vs Titans Odds Preseason Week 3

The Preseason Week 3 betting odds on WynnBET have the Bears as a 3.0-point favorite on the road. This spread actually widened by a point in favor of the Bears over the last 24 hours. The shift in the Bears’ favor has to be because the Titans are dealing with COVID-19 issues. The Bears also have -160 Moneyline odds (bet $160 to win $100), while Tennessee is the underdog at +135 (bet $100 to win $135). The total for the game is set at an over/under of 35.5 points.

Bears vs Titans Prediction Preseason Week 3

The Bears are on the road and facing a very tough Titans team. The Titans were 11-5 last season and won the AFC South. The year before the Titans were 9-7 and made the playoffs as a Wild Card team. Head coach Mike Vrabel has really turned this team into an AFC powerhouse the last couple of years. In 2019, the Titans won their first two playoff games before losing to the soon-to-be Super Bowl champions in the AFC Championship game. Last season they fell to the Ravens in the Wild Card round.

The point is that this team is very well built and I can see them making a strong push in the AFC again this season. We saw how bad the Chicago Bears played versus a Super Bowl contender in the Bills last week. Although the Titans are not built as well from top to bottom as the Bills, the team looks to be in better form than the Bears.

Even if Justin Fields plays the full first half, I disagree with the WynnBET odds this week and would take the Titans to win. We are predicting a 28-17 Bears loss in this one.
