We had our fair share of winners from the Chicago Bears preseason finale, including the most important player Justin Fields. With that have to be losers. As the Chicago Bears make final cuts and trim the roster to 53, there are a few players who may have been on previous iterations, but may not be anymore.
Thomas Graham
By all accounts, this looks like it is what Chicago wants. Beyond that, it is what Thomas Graham needs. Graham opted out last season so he is catching up from a year behind. It has shown throughout the preseason, and he got beat a few times late into the game against the Titans.
Beyond him getting beat a few times, it also is worth saying again that these occurrences are late in games. He has played behind players such as Xavier Crawford, and Artie Burns.
Teams will not go out of their way to claim a corner with limited reps in the past 24 months. A year on the practice squad would do him good, and if the Bears explain themselves he would surely buy into the long-term vision. Do not be surprised if they do let their draft pick go this week, though.
