Riley Ridley

Riley Ridley was on thin ice as he came in. It appeared Chicago wanted to move on from Anthony Miller, Javon Wims, and Riley Ridley, three depth wide receivers who were not making an impact. They added Damiere Byrd, Marquise Goodwin and Dazz Newsome with the idea that those three would be out, and the new trio in.

So far, two are out, and Ridley is coming next. Some fans feel Ridley has not gotten a fair shake, but he also has never proven worthy when he has gotten a chance.

To start, he struggled on special teams and was not a blocker. He played 94 snaps this preseason and caught four balls for 41 yards. He has had an abysmal yard per route run, and that continued even in the preseason.

Ridley may be a player that looks for a job elsewhere and does not even stick on the practice squad.
