Finally, this brings us to the cornerback position. The Chicago Bears brought both Artie Burns and Marqui Christian back to the roster once they placed Danny Trevathan and Teven Jenkins on injured reserve. Burns was technically brought back first, and then Christian. Technically I also could probably have Artie Burns on this list too, but he clearly has a slight leg up on Christian.
Christian will need to prove his worth and fight to stay on the active roster. The team has six cornerbacks on the roster now after only having four on the first day. It’s quite possible the team only keeps five (I pray they don’t drop it to only four).

Not only does Christian need to prove he is better than Burns, but he must also hold off any available free agents who the Chicago Bears may view as an upgrade at the position. For a very thin secondary from a talent perspective, Christian has a real opportunity here, but will he do anything with it is the question and why he’s on this list.
