Key Matchups No. 2 and No. 3: Chicago Bears vs. the Los Angeles Rams

2. Aaron Donald vs the Bears interior line

Aaron Donald, is no doubt, the best and most feared defensive player in the league. While the Bears’ offensive front is not great, their strength is their interior. Guards Cody Whitehair and James Daniels are reliable players but center Sam Mustipher is still unproven.

The best you can hope for is to at least slow Donald down because let’s be honest, he’s on another level in terms of skill, when compared to Bears’ offensive line.

3. Leonard Floyd vs Germain Ifedi

Bears RT Germain Ifedi started all 16 games for the team in 2020, where he bounced around between tackle and guard. Ifedi mostly played at guard but will be tasked with being the team’s starting RT heading into the new year.

In week one he will be facing a vaunted Rams defense and will be seeing his fair of snaps against former Chicago Bear, Leonard Floyd. Floyd had a strong first season for the Rams getting 10.5 sacks and earning himself a new deal.
