The Chicago Bears need to keep Cooper Kupp in check on Sunday

A big topic of discussion for the Rams has been the acquisition of veteran quarterback Matt Stafford and how much he will improve an already good team. However, Cooper Kupp is someone who the Bears need to watch on this offense.

Kupp is one of the best slot WRs in the league and on paper right now the Bears have a pretty poor cornerback room that has more questions than anything else. Besides Jaylon Johnson, there seems to be a lack of true talent. Can Kindle Vildor step up on the opposite side? Even if he can, that still leaves plenty of questions at the nickel corner spot.

Lining up against Kupp will be none other than Duke Shelley who is someone Sean McVay should be targeting on this defense. All of the Rams’ firepower on offense may be too much for this Bears defense to overcome in Week 1. This matchup is not looking great for this Bears team still dealing with so many unanswered questions.
