The preseason brought plenty of training camp battles as players fought for starting jobs for the Chicago Bears. On Tuesday, the Bears released their official depth chart to start the season.
In short, there weren’t many surprises in terms of who the Bears have in terms of starters. There are plenty of areas where the team is set, but there are also spots on the team that the Bears may have overlooked just a bit.
Who is on the hot seat for the Chicago Bears?
It’s not to say that the following players are absolutely in jeopardy of being replaced. Rather, it’s more so that their claim to their spot has been overlooked by the Bears. They are second or third-year players that have been placed in starting roles that the Chicago Bears are hopeful will be each of theirs for many seasons to come, or at least for this year.
The hope is that each of these players exceeds the expectations placed in front of them. Should Justin Fields reopen the potential for a Super Bowl again, these players could either become a key piece to that roster or find themselves out of a job should they fail to perform in 2021.
