Heading into Sunday Night the Chicago Bears are not favored to win, but that does not rule out a possibility that the Bears spoil SoFi Stadium opening back up for the fans.

This will mark the fourth consecutive season that the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams square off since the arrival of Matt Nagy in 2018. The Rams currently lead 2-1, winning the two most recent matchups. Once again the headline for this game will be focused on the defenses of the two teams, just as they have been in previous years.

A subheading will also be focused on two new faces from around the league who will be under center as Andy Dalton and Matthew Stafford look to debut for their new teams. If the Bears are looking to return to Chicago with an undefeated record, here are the keys to the game that may help them achieve them.

Five Keys to a Chicago Bears victory

Chicago Bears Key No. 1: Contain Aaron Donald from disrupting the game

Arguably the greatest defensive player over the last decade, Aaron Donald has been known to take over games. The three-time defensive player of the year could be the biggest problem the Bears face on Sunday. Making sure they take him out of the game plan early on will give the struggling offensive line a bit of a sigh of relief.

This also includes taking out Jalen Ramsey and the secondary for Los Angeles. Having a clean pocket to throw from is something Andy Dalton will benefit from, as this also allows our receivers to create more separation and run more efficient routes.

Excluding Donald from the play puts more pressure on the rest of the Rams to do their jobs correctly. With Allen Robinson’s route-running skills and hands, combined with the speed offered by Darnell Mooney and Marquise Goodwin, it will be a challenge for the Rams to stop them if Donald is locked up. This may very well be the most important key to a Bears victory.
