The Chicago Bears wish they still had Kyle Fuller on this roster

This is probably the most obvious one. Fans were not happy with how the Kyle Fuller situation was handled. Honestly, he was not worth paying $20 million dollars this season, however, that is on Ryan Pace who kept pushing salaries down the road. Solid strategy if you had a quarterback like Patrick Mahomes under center and not Mitch Trubisky. Although, I do wonder if Matt Nagy would have success with Mahomes or if he’d hold him back. Personally, I think he’d be holding him back too.

Fuller played on 90% of Denver’s defensive snaps last week. He came away with six tackles and two pass deflections. The Broncos’ defense looked superb compared to Chicago. The Broncos played a less-talented Giants team but held them to only 13 points. Fuller’s six tackles were tied with the Broncos’ two other corners, Justin Simmons and Ronald Darby.

With every corner outside of Jaylon Johnson struggling at times for the Bears, this team needs to either have a legitimate pass rush or develop a lockdown corner. I don’t foresee a trade taking place for any help either, so this is all they have. Khalil Mack and company better wake up if they don’t want to be thrashed over and over again each week.
