The Chicago Bears need to stop Joe Mixon from running all over them

Player No. 2: Joe Mixon

Joe Mixon had himself a phenomenal game last week against the Vikings. Rushing 29 times, for 127 yards, and a touchdown. In my opinion, Mixon is one of the more underrated running backs in the entire league.

Drafted back in 2017, Mixon has been very consistent for the Bengals ever since other than last year where he only played in six games due to an injury. To be fair, the Bears have a very strong defensive line and are more than capable of stopping the run.

Last week the team only gave up a little over three yards-per-carry, totaling just over 70 yards. That being said Joe Mixon is better than any RB that was on the Rams last week. When you factor in that star NT Eddie Goldman may not play, it makes it that much harder.

Of everyone that’s going to be in this article, I do feel that the Bears do have the best chance of keeping this player quiet on Sunday. The defense looked shaky last Sunday night but the run defense should be up to the task against the Bengals.

However, if Mixon has a game like he did last week, it will be a long day for the Chicago defense who already will have their hands full.
