Reason No. 2: The Cleveland Browns rank 30th best defense against QBs in 2021

According to CBS Sports Fantasy, the Cleveland Browns are the 30th best defense against quarterbacks this season.

So, you could say that Justin Fields has a good chance of continuing that trend, as the quarterbacks that played prior to Fields have been Patrick Mahomes (Week 1) and Tyrod Taylor (Week 2).

In Week 1, Patrick Mahomes was 27/36 for 337 yards, 3 TDs, and no INTs. And while Mahomes is clearly a more successful quarterback than Justin Fields at this current time, it’s not crazy to think that Fields could have a similar week.

In Week 2, Tyrod Taylor and Davis Mills– who I’d argue are both less talented than Justin Fields– were a combined 18/29 for 227 yards, 2 TDs, and 1 INT. Even with Mills’ performance in Week 3 on Thursday Night Football, I’m saying it with my chest: “Justin Fields is better than Davis Mills, and the Chicago Bears offense is better than the Houston Texans offense.

With all that said, do I think that it’s automatically rolling out the red carpet for Justin Fields to go absolutely nuts this in Week 3? Maybe, but I understand my bias.

However, their ranking against quarterbacks does put Justin Fields in a very good spot to perform well, as long as they play as they have the first two weeks.

That’s the second reason, which only leaves one more reason to start Justin Fields in your super flex fantasy league in Week 3.
