After just two weeks into the 2021 NFL Season, Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields will be making his first career start against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium. This will be the Chicago Bears’ second road game. The first one did not go very well versus the Rams, but let us hope they learned from that mistake of a game.

For the Bears coaching staff, this may be far sooner than expected. For the Chicago Bears fanbase, this couldn’t have come soon enough.

How long Fields will remain the starter is unknown and will depend on veteran Andy Dalton’s health. Dalton suffered a knee injury in the second quarter of Week 2’s victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Andy Dalton is the quarterback when healthy, but now it’s Justin Fields time

In coach Matt Nagy’s press conference on Wednesday, he told reporters that Dalton would regain the Bears’ starting quarterback role when healthy.

But for now, the Bears are moving forward with Fields as the primary signal-caller and Nick Foles will be the backup.

So, what should fans expect in this Week 3 matchup between the Bears (1-1) and Browns (1-1)?

The Chicago Audible has you covered with this week’s game preview. In the episode, Will DeWitt, Mason West and I give you our game keys to ensure Fields is successful.
