After Justin Fields’ disastrous debut, fans and the media have had a lot to say about the Chicago Bears, from players to coaches, to the front office.
Those who work hoping Justin Fields’ debut would immediately usher in a new era of Bears football were in for a rude awakening this Sunday, as the Cleveland Browns utterly decimated the Bears’ offense. The Bears had 47 yards of total offense through four quarters; last week, several teams had more than that on a single play. It was a disaster, and with all of the intrigue surrounding Justin Fields’ first start, the entire NFL world watched it happen.
Fans and Analysts have been very critical of the Bears
The Bears organization has been under scrutiny from this season, but it has gotten to an entirely new level this week. The Bears’ pitiful offensive showing has garnered the attention of many of the top talk shows on networks like ESPN and Fox Sports, with most of them aiming at Matt Nagy for his poor game plan.
The Bears offense has a lot of questions going forward
Matt Nagy started the week unsure of the Bears’ starting quarterback for this Sunday’s game. He’s even gone as far as to say all three quarterbacks currently on the 53-man roster are possibilities. The lack of transparency from Nagy has only added to the speculation. Here are some of the most interesting takes I’ve seen about the Bears this week.
