Final thoughts on Chicago Bears Week 4 outcome against the Detroit Lions

With so much at stake regardless of what happens, this is a somewhat critical week against a division opponent.

Now, as I said before, it’s tough for me to root against the Bears, and this week is no difference. I think the only way they do win is with Lazor calling plays, so a win from the Bears would be evidence Nagy handed those keys off.

With Nagy no longer calling plays, the reason to want to get rid of him gets buried a little, as that’s one of the bigger reasons to get rid of him.

Otherwise, he seems to be a player’s coach, and that’s important as long as that’s not the reasons that some offensive decisions are made. Hence Andy Dalton over Justin Fields.

However, as long as Lazor calls a better-than-nothing offensive game and the defense has a similar week as last week — maybe without the collapse-ish towards the end — I think a Chicago Bears win is far more important than a loss against the Lions this week.
