The Chicago Bears will travel to Las Vegas to face the Raiders at Allegiant Stadium for their Week 5 matchup. The Bears (2-2) are looking to win their second game in a row after defeating the Detroit Lions, 24-14, last Sunday at Soldier Field. The Raiders (3-1), on the other hand, are looking to bounce back after suffering a 28-14 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night.
For Chicago, this will be rookie quarterback Justin Fields’ third game as the starting quarterback. With offensive coordinator Bill Lazor calling plays, Fields completed 11-of-17 passes and connected with wide receiver Darnell Mooney five times for 125 yards, which was Mooney’s first 100-yard receiving game of his career.
In the victory over their NFC North rival, the Bears’ defense held the Lions to 14 points and forced Detroit to go 1-of-5 in its red zone trips.
What should Bears fans expect this Sunday against the Raiders? In the Chicago Audible’s latest preview show, Will DeWitt, Mason West and I break down everything you need to know for the much-anticipated matchup.
Of course, we start off the show with an in-depth discussion on the Bears’ offense, including what we anticipate the running game will look like without David Montgomery and what we want to see from Fields as he continues to grow as an NFL quarterback.
In the defensive portion of the podcast, we highlight what the greatest strengths are on the Raiders’ offense and what the game plan should be for defensive coordinator Sean Desai to limit what Las Vegas can do.
At the end of the episode, we give our “Bold Predictions,” “Game Picks” and “Confidence Meter.”
There is plenty of great discussion throughout this show, so make sure you download the podcast or watch it on YouTube.
