Khalil Mack led the way for the defense, making the biggest play on an entire afternoon. His sack of Derek Carr on the Raiders’ two-point conversion late in the game turned the game from what could have been a three-point game to keep it at a five-point game at that point.

Mack finished the game with eight total tackles, seven solos, one sack, tackle for loss, a quarterback hit, and the sack on the two-point conversion. He was second on the team in tackles by linebacker Roquan Smith.

Against the Packers, the Bears already know that the only way they can beat Aaron Rodgers is by pressuring as much and as often as they possibly can. Mack, who is one of the sack leaders on this Bears roster, will have to be the leading player wreaking havoc in the Green Bay backfield.

Mack, Robert Quinn, and Trevis Gipson have been the team’s primary pass rushers on the season and will be needed next Sunday against an inconsistent Green Bay offensive line. If Mack could replicate his impact from this Sunday against the Raiders to next Sunday against the Packers, the Bears should have a fighting chance to upset Green Bay.
