We didn’t quite know what the 2021 version of the New Orleans Saints would look like. One thing was for sure, though: they wouldn’t be boring. With Jameis Winston starting at quarterback, that’s the last thing anyone would have predicted.

Currently, the Saints sit at 3-2 in the NFC South. At the moment, they would be just on the outside looking in at a playoff spot.

But, they are keeping afloat while help is nearly on the way. Pro Bowl wide receiver Michael Thomas could return after their bye week, which is this week. The Saints have also had 10 other players injured, and many of them are eligible to return next week as well.

The Saints have some great complementary wide receivers in Marquez Callaway and Deonte Harris, but those guys are more effective on deep passes and big-play type of calls. Adding Robinson would give the Saints a hyper-effective one-two punch with him and Thomas, once the All-Pro comes back from injury.

Robinson could be the one piece that puts this offense over the top, which also features a backfield with Alvin Kamara. The Saints’ defense has kept them competitive this season and has allowed just 97 points in five games. Should they get Robinson, watch out.
