Week 6 Winner No. 3: Robert Quinn

While the entire Chicago Bears pass rush has looked good this season, ranking near the top of the league in most categories, Robert Quinn deserves a special shoutout as he continues to play up to the contract he was given. After a highly disappointing first year in Chicago, Quinn is thriving under new defensive coordinator Sean Desai and is on pace to have one of his best years in a while.

He ended with a sack on Aaron Rodgers and a couple of big tackles for loss. He is not the best as a run defender due to his lack of raw athleticism, but Quinn has shown he is a top pass rusher with his mix of power and finesse. Credit to Desai for creating a game-plan that seems to start with getting to the quarterback.

Robert Quinn has played well in each of the Bears games so far. As a 31-year-old, Quinn is arguably looking like he is in his prime this year, or at least back to his form when he recorded 19 sacks in 2013 with the Rams. It is a good sign and a relief because Bears fans were worried about what would happen after his disastrous year last season.

The Bears were able to get consistent pressure against Aaron Rodgers. While he could counter that with his escapability, the pass rush affected the Packers game-plan throughout the game. Unfortunately, there is only so much Robert Quinn and company can do against such a high-powered offense.

Robert Quinn is bouncing back in a big way after last season, and every week he seems to be making a large impact on the game. Hopefully, his success continues next week against one of the best offensive lines in the league in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
