The Chicago Bears could strike a trade with the Tennessee Titans

Next, the Bears could look to negotiate with the 6-2 Tennessee Titans, who are atop the AFC South and winners of four in a row. Tennessee looks like a real threat now in the AFC after a disappointing loss to the Jets helped spark this turnaround.

The problem in Tennessee, now, is the fact that they could be without Derrick Henry for the remainder of the season. Henry appears to be on track to miss significant time after suffering a foot injury in Sunday’s win over the Colts.

Tennessee’s depth at running back is already thin, having lost Darrynton Evans. Right now, the only real option they have is Jeremy McNichols. Adding running back depth is imperative now, as the Titans look to keep the momentum moving.

If the Bears opted to trade a running back, it’s doubtful they would ever think of moving David Montgomery or Khalil Herbert. Instead, the veteran Damien Williams seems to be a likely candidate.

On a 1-year deal, Williams wouldn’t fetch much. However, if the Bears got anything at all, that would be a great trade on their part.
