Whether you’re a Justin Fields believer or not, I’d argue that most NFL coaches would like to have a go at coaching an offense led by Justin Fields.
He’s an electric playmaker that seemingly can do a lot between the sidelines — given their head coach knows anything about their skillset. Not only has Matt Nagy been ignorant to Fields’ capabilities, but it shows when his influence helps call a game.
Last week against San Francisco, Justin Fields was being utilized correctly, and it showed on the scoreboard. Unfortunately, the defense didn’t hold up their end of the bargain, but Justin Fields objectively played far better than he’s played this year with no Matt Nagy.

Even if it wasn’t like he lit the defense up with his arm, he showed why he’s special. His ability to extend a play past its original design is what makes Justin Fields electric, and it’s an easy reason why most coaches would want to take on the head coaching job for the Chicago Bears.
