Bears: Eddie Goldman trending up heading into second half of season
Eddied Goldman made his presence known on these two plays
The next third-down stop occurred on the Steelers’ second possession in the fourth quarter. Pittsburgh was on the Chicago 36 and already up by a touchdown. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger handed the ball off to Harris but he was immediately met by cornerback Jaylon Johnson and Eddie Goldman for no gain.
Goldman again drove Green back, pushing the back of his feet to the 38-yard line. The Steelers were forced to settle for a Chris Boswell 54-yard field goal to make it a 23-13 game, with 11:54 remaining the quarter.
Eddie Goldman’s final stop happened with just over five minutes left in the game. This time he was lined up across from left guard Kevin Dotson on a second-and-six. Goldman fought through the block, located Harris, and made the tackle for a one-yard loss.
