The news surrounding the Chicago Bears right now has very little to do with the game on Thanksgiving Day. No one really cares about a 3-7 Bears team going on the road to play a winless Detroit Lions team. Well, no one but people looking to bet and make some money.

We already know that Andy Dalton is going to be the starter for the Bears tomorrow and reports are starting to surface that Jared Goff, not backup Tim Boyle, will be lacing up his cleats to start on Thanksgiving Day. This is great news for the Lions, despite the team not having a win to show for their season. As bad as Goff has been, Boyle has been that much worse. In his start last week he totaled 77 passing yards and two interceptions.

Bears vs Lions Odds Week 12

The Week 12 betting odds on WynnBET have the Bears as -3.0 favorites on the road. Honestly, it started off at -3.5 on Monday and shifted as the week has gone on. Maybe it has to do with the fact Goff is trending towards playing? Maybe it has to do with the fact people think the Bears are going to be distracted by all of the Matt Nagy drama?

WynnBET set the Chicago Moneyline at -160 (Bet $160 to win $100) and the over/under at 41.5. When it comes to this game, honestly I don’t see how anyone is wanting to bet it. There are way too many variables at play. That said, I do think the Bears find a way to win, but I also think it will be a very low-scoring game. I’m not big on over/under bets, but I like the under on this one.

Bears vs Lions Prediction Week 12

No matter what is going on with the Matt Nagy situation, or even all of the injuries that the team is dealing with, Chicago should not lose this game. That said, I thought that last week after Lamar Jackson was ruled out. If you can find a prop bet on if Matt Nagy is fired before Saturday, you should lean on that one by the way. Things are not sounding good at all.
