Before I start, let me make my point for those that only read the beginning paragraph once seeing a title like this one. I’m going to make points towards why it could work for Jim Harbaugh to be the next head coach of the Chicago Bears.

On my personal list, he’s not in the top two, so this isn’t me necessarily campaigning for Jim Harbaugh; however, I will say that Harbaugh brings some interesting characteristics as a potential head coaching candidate to replace the likely gone Matt Nagy.

The Chicago Bears must keep all head coaching options open

This is also going under the assumption that Jim Harbaugh doesn’t stay in Ann Arbor, which isn’t incredibly likely. It’s been seen through his time at Michigan that his job is seemingly there for him for as long as he wants it.

With all that said, I think there are three reasons why Jim Harbaugh could be a good replacement for Matt Nagy as the next Chicago Bears head coach.
