Chicago Bears: 3 players who deserve more playing time down the stretch

Dazz Newsome can possibly offer this Bears WR room some explosiveness
Player No. 2 Dazz Newsome
Now, I must admit I may be a little bias for this entry but Dazz Newsome was one of my favorite day three WRs to get drafted this past season and I 100 percent think he has something to offer an NFL roster.
Not only can he provide WR depth but he has the potential to be a legit option in the slot, something the Bears are desperate for right now, but he also offers a skillset as a returner. Now to be fair, the Bears do seem to have found a legit return man in Jakeem Grant but there’s nothing wrong with having options.
The Bears WR room has been a major disappointment in 2020. After being an absolute stud his first three years, Allen Robinson’s production has taken a nosedive. Darnell Mooney has been solid but may not ever be number one WR and I would still like to see more week-to-week consistency, though as of late he has been playing great ball.
Beyond those two, the team has Marquise Goodwin and Demerie Byrd both of whom have offered very little in production. In fact, heading into Sunday’s game against the Cardinals, the team will be without both Robinson and Goodwin.
Dazz was a productive player at UNC, part of a nice one-two punch at WR with Dyami Brown who was drafted by Washington. Unfortunately, Newsome suffered a broken collarbone in training camp and was held out of the preseason, and has since been on the practice squad.
Given the injury situation and the lack of overall production to come from this position, it may be time to shake up the WR room with some new faces.
