The Chicago Bears drop to 4-8 on the season after a 33-22 loss to the Cardinals.

The Chicago Bears were looking to build momentum after a win over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving. However, the team was unable to overcome the turnovers and are now 1-6 in their last seven games.

Given the talent gap between the two teams, the Bears’ margin for error was very small, to begin with, and going down 14-0 in the first quarter didn’t help things. Andy Dalton threw four interceptions, including two in the red zone, and the Bears were unable to dig themselves out of the early hole.

The defense held up reasonably well for most of the game. MVP candidate Kyler Murray threw for a season-low 123 yards, and the Cardinals rushing attack was held to 3.9 yards per carry. The Cardinals offense wasn’t able to sustain many long drives, but due to the field position from turnovers, they rarely had to. The team seems to be in prime position for a playoff push Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins getting healthy.

As for the Bears, there is hard to find much to be optimistic about. The team is now 4-8 and without a first-round pick for the upcoming 2022 draft. Andy Dalton was atrocious, and the Bears have to travel Green Bay for a battle with the Packers next Sunday.
