The Chicago Bears should keep Larry Borom at right tackle

One of the few players who actually had a good game against the Arizona Cardinals was fifth-round draft pick, Larry Borom. According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), Borom had his best-graded game of the season.

Edge rushers Chandler Jones and Markus Golden had 18 total sacks combined coming into the game. Despite playing in bad field conditions and being asked at times to block those players one on one, Borom didn’t give up a single sack.

Over the past two weeks, Borom has given up four total hurries, which is the same amount he gave up in the game against Baltimore — his worst graded game, according to PFF.

The Bears are actually doing the right thing with Borom. For the five remaining regular-season games, Borom should continue to anchor the right tackle position to continue progressing in his rookie year.
