1. Artie Burns over Kindle Vildor

The Chicago Bears entering the season with Kindle Vildor as their top outside option was questionable to say the least. Vildor rode some ups and downs but somehow managed to maintain his role through 11 weeks of the season.

However, after blowing a game against Tyler Huntley, the team finally saw enough. It was time to give Artie Burns some run. Burns looked like a disaster early when Josh Reynolds torched him for a touchdown.

However, since then he has eased into his role. To be fair, Jared Goff hard passed after that point, and Kyler Murray had a lead the entire game in the rain. It is not as if he shut down a strong passing attack.

Still, he has made a few sticks in the run, and the reality is that if he has not embarrassed himself then he is going to keep playing over Vildor. Burns should see more action on Sunday Night football when we find out if he is worth watching the final four games. Still, he is two games down already, and that is more than many thought when he was part of initial cuts in August.
