Chicago Bears: 3 Reasons why Justin Fields is head coach-proof
By Dakota Wayne
Reason No. 1: Justin Fields holds himself to the highest standard possible
When Justin Fields speaks during a press conference, there’s never a doubt that he’s absolutely dialed in at all times.
Whether it’s about the Green Bay Packers rivalry, or why he chose to be a vegan, his mentality doesn’t change. At all times, he’s dialed in to being the best version of himself possible. While that’s an easy mentality to preach, it’s a hard one to live day-in and day-out; and Justin Fields seemingly has it each and every day.
Now, when you have a head coach that might not be the best in the business, it’s easy to stoop down to the level they’re at.
Not Justin Fields though.
Justin Fields, while still in his first NFL season, has shown flashes of being the highest offensive leader the Chicago Bears have seen in quite some time. And while that doesn’t automatically mean his jersey will be hanging in the rafters when it’s all said and done, it’s a quality that most, if not all, head coaches want in their signal-caller.
With the first reason out the way, what’s next? Why else is Justin Fields head coach-proof?
