This young receiver could use a change of scenery
Jalen Reagor may be a bit of a stretch as well, as he’s been criticized for his lack of production in Philadelphia. However, with Devonta Smith emerging as a solid presence for the Eagles, Reagor could be a cheap trade option. A new team could also be exactly what the former TCU receiver needs, especially if it’s in a larger role.
Reagor has failed to be what the Eagles hoped out of him, and they may be inclined to move on from him as a result. It’s certainly hard to be the receiver taken the pick before Justin Jefferson. A trade for Reagor would be a low-risk, high-reward sort of situation: the Eagles may move him for little draft capital. The Bears get a young, cheap receiver under contract for two years and give him a promising quarterback in Justin Fields. It’s an experiment the Bears could at least contemplate.
