Changes to the organization could see Laviska Shenault out the door

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been a disaster this year, and with Urban Meyer out the door, changes could be coming once again. Similar to a hypothetical Reagor trade, Shenault would be a low buy for the Bears to beef up their receiver core.

Shenault had a respectable rookie season and brings some options on special teams. He hasn’t managed to find his groove his second NFL season, but a large part of that is arguably the scheme, the lack of overall offense with the Jaguars, and his own rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence dealing with his own transition to the NFL.

Pairing Shenault’s skill set with Mooney’s means a lot of speed to a Bears offense that has Fields, who isn’t afraid to launch the ball deep. If the Jaguars decide to revamp their offense, the Bears should come knocking for Shenault.
