The Chicago Bears will likely be competing against the Giants for a head coach
It is too soon to say if Joe Judge is going to survive in New York after this season, but if I had to put money on it, I would bet he is not going to be the Giants head coach in 2022. Reports are already surfacing that David Gettlemen is likely to be out as the general manager. If these are true, it will be even more difficult for Judge to remain as the head coach.
The thing is, the Giants are a destination I don’t see many coaches looking to move to. The team is in need of a new quarterback. Saquan Barkley has struggled to remain healthy. The team signed Kenny Golladay to a four-year, $72 million dollar deal and he has literally zero touchdowns on the season. To make matters worse, his catch rate is 47.9% on the year. I love Golladay and think this has more to do with a broken offense than it does a broken player, but he has had plenty of injuries in his short career.
Now, as I was writing this, the New York Giants called a quarterback sneak on third and nine from their own three-yard line. If this doesn’t get Joe Judge fired, I’m not sure what will at this point.
Do you think the players lined up thinking...

What in the actual BLEEP are we doing here??#NFL #Giants #WFT https://t.co/YpY7NNr9cm
The bottom line here is that the Giants should not be competition for the Chicago Bears, but if a team is willing to pay more than the Bears have proven to pay in the past, then this offseason could be a crapshoot for our beloved Bears as we watch other teams lock in the better coaching candidates.
