The Chicago Bears have not hired their General Manager or head coach yet, but the second they do the duo will have plenty of work to do to a roster that Ryan Pace left a bit empty. There was a nice parting present that is Justin Fields, but there are plenty of holes in other areas.

When it comes to this offseason, what are five positions that the Chicago Bears absolutely have to hit?

5. Linebacker

Roquan Smith was voted as one of the five best linebackers in the NFL, but that is not quite enough to say that the team is done at the position. They still have Danny Trevathan signed, but they may be ready to eat some cap space to move on from the aging and injury-prone Trevathan.

Those are reasons enough to deem this a need position even with him on the roster. The team also will be losing Alec Ogletree, who filled in for Trevathan. Ogletree was up and down but was a desperate signing late into training camp and there are plenty of thoughts that with time they could find an upgrade.

What once was a position of strength with plenty of depth has slowly become Roquan Smith and a heap of question marks.
