5 positions Chicago Bears must address in 2022

4. Safety

Speaking of one player and a bunch of question marks, does anybody know who the Chicago Bears number two safety on their roster is? I do not.

Tashaun Gipson, Deon Bush, DeAndre Houston-Carson, and Jalen Tabor are all free agents, and that makes up the depth on the roster. Surely they can bring back some of these guys, but injuries and age is catching up to Gipson, and DHC may have caught the eyes of other teams when he finally got on the field.

Even if they bring back one or two of these players, that means they will need at least one or two more safeties to fill the depth. Perhaps they bring back Deon Bush, add a starting-caliber safety, and a cheap veteran.

Either way, they have to put some resources into this spot.
