3 head coaches emerging in Chicago Bears search
2. Leslie Frazier
From the very beginning of the Chicago Bears search, they have been looking at Leslie Frazier. He was listed as an early favorite, and as the job gets closer to being filled, he is still one of the strongest names left.
Leslie Frazier has pull because he knows Bill Polian, but also has a relationship with the McCaskey family. Frazier won a Super Bowl with the 85 Bears.
Of course, that was in his playing days, but it launched his coaching career. Then, Frazier spent 2005 and 2006 with the Colts, working with Bill Polian and Tony Dungy.
Like Jim Caldwell, Frazier also coached a team in this division. Unlike Caldwell, Frazier will need to provide a strong offensive plan that includes who will be calling plays. While Caldwell is associated with the offense, Frazier is a defensive mind, which is not bad but brings offensive questions.
