3. Brian Flores

There has not been a report that Brian Flores is getting a second look from Chicago, but he did get a call early in the process and has been looked at as a favorite for a week or so now. We may see Brian Flores get the call for a second interview based on who the General Manager is.

If you want Brian Flores to be the Chicago Bears head coach, then you want Ryan Poles or Monti Ossenfort to be the General Manager.

Flores had been in New England since 2008 and Ossenfort was there in 2006. Over ten years of working together goes a long way. In 2018, the Patriots sent the duo to a Career Development Symposium, knowing this duo had a bright future. Did talks of them reuniting start back then?

Aside from Ossenfort being very high on Flores, there are reports that Ryan Poles is as well. Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated said that if Poles are hired by the Chicago Bears, they should expect to see Brian Flores get a second interview.

Matt Eberflus is the first candidate for a second interview, but Flores has more candidates on his side from up top. Keep an eye on this development.
