3. Monti Ossenfort

If you want to read all about Ossenfort, there is more detail in here. For the skinny, this is an executive on the Tennessee Titans, who spent nearly his entire career in the New England Patriots front office. He has experience on the college and pro personnel side, which helps in a big way.

He obviously comes from a culture of winning, and his most notable connection could be Brian Flores, who was with Ossenfort when they came up in New England together.

The question around Ossenfort would be whether or not he is just going to try to rip off the Patriots, or if he is going to build something in his image. The Titans were able to steal a bunch of front office members, and Mike Vrabel, and they have had success, but other teams like the Lions and Texans saw this same strategy blow up in their face.

Beyond that, while the Titans’ success the past few years is obviously connected to Ossenfort, it is fair to wonder how much impact he really made in New England. This pushes him down to three.
