4. Calvin Austin, Memphis

Calvin Austin shows how different the wide receiver position can be when you see him standing next to Christian Watson. For as big as Watson stands, Austin is 5’7″, 173 pounds. The two have one trait in common and that is speed. Both of them can flat-out fly.

However, Austin is obviously more limited, which is why most of his receptions come near the line of scrimmage. He is a more dynamic route runner than Watson but is obviously limited to his route tree when it comes to the NFL.

Still, for Chicago Bears in particular they should be looking at Austin as a potential Tarik Cohen replacement. Austin has similar traits, but went to a bigger school and may have been more dynamic.

He could go higher in the draft, but it would start with a week in Mobile where he shows that his size is not going to impact his upside in the NFL.
