Chicago Bears Captain No. 4: Khalil Mack, EDGE

This goes without saying, similarly to Roquan Smith, but Khalil Mack is a staple of this defense and team in general.

Sure, people can say Mack’s taken a step down in production, but that’s not what being a captain is about per se.

Khalil Mack is a guy that current Bears look to when looking for a mentor. He’s exactly what you look for in a team captain, and he’s been worthy of a “C” since being traded for in 2018.

Mack has been one of the more glamorous names on the Chicago Bears, but what he does is far from glamorous. Seeing him move 300lbs men the way he does is nothing short of mesmerizing.

Not only for the reason that Khalil Mack is a one-man wrecking crew, but he’s a leader by the fact that he’s been a respected player since getting drafted by the then Oakland Raiders.

Having veteran leadership is important in a locker room, so adding a “C” to Khalil Mack’s jersey seems like a no-brainer.

Now, who is the sixth and final captain? Great question, really. I prepared for this one, so here you go.
