The Chicago Bears could target Bengals DT, Larry Ogunjobi

Now let’s look at the opposite team in Super Bowl LVI — the Cincinnati Bengals. The talent pool is a little worse when it comes to free agents who may be leaving the Bengals next year when compared to the Rams. However, there are still three names to consider and Larry Ogunjobi is the first one.

Ogunjobi is similar to Bilal Nichols in that he can move around on the line. If you watch his game tape, Ogunjobi has success playing in both the A gap (1-technique) and B gap (3-technique). He was consistently better than Nichols too throughout his career.

Ogunjobi was drafted in 2017 by the Browns in the third round — notice how many former Browns are on this list? He was not retained after his rookie contract though and signed a one-year deal with the Bengals this year. In his second and third seasons, Ogunjobi finished with 5.5 sacks. He only had two in his final year in Cleveland but came away with seven this year. He’s also a solid defender against the run.
