The Chicago Bears could trade Robert Quinn to the Baltimore Ravens
Last year, the Baltimore Ravens likely would have been in the thick of the AFC playoffs had they been able to stay healthy. It wasn’t just quarterback Lamar Jackson dealing with injuries, but seemingly their entire defense. The Ravens were obliterated by injuries on the defensive end in 2021.
Now, they face an upcoming free agency period where some of their own include: Defensive end Calais Campbell, nose tackle Brandon Williams and edge rusher Justin Houston. That’s three highly significant names the Ravens could lose from their front seven, and Quinn would certainly help ease that pain.
This trade is less bloated than the others, with the Bears simply receiving the Ravens’ 2022 fourth-rounder (pick 117) in return for Quinn. At this point, the Bears now have six picks in the upcoming draft and very well could find a starter there in the fourth round.
One thing to remember while contemplating all of these deals is the fact that the Bears still have Trevis Gipson waiting in the wing, too. They wouldn’t be completely dead in the water outside of Khalil Mack. This deal makes sense for both sides, all things considered.
