5 possible Allen Robinson replacements Chicago Bears could pursue

The Chicago Bears could sign Chris Godwin to replace Allen Robinson
This offseason became a whole lot more interesting once Tom Brady announced his retirement. Despite rumors that will seemingly never end about Brady actually being retired, the Bucs have to act as though he is not coming back.
With that, their own free agents will keep that in mind. Veteran Chris Godwin has spent his entire 5-year career with the Bucs, but now that their quarterback situation is up in the air, maybe he decides to test free agency and find a new home.
Godwin is a little bit smaller than London at 6-foot-1, but he’s still every bit of a number one receiving option. Godwin excels in multiple areas, being a sound route runner and one of those guys who is always open. But, he’s also a sneaky deep threat, hauling in a handful of career receptions over 70 yards.
The 2019 Pro Bowler has always played next to another dominant force in Mike Evans and has still put up big numbers.
Over his last three seasons, Godwin has gone for over 3,100 yards and 21 touchdowns. He and Mooney are different enough where they’d compliment each other very well, and the Bears could spend their higher draft capital elsewhere. The wildcard in signing Godwin is the fact that he’s coming off an ACL tear. Does Godwin still get a hefty deal? Or will it be more of a 1-year prove-it type contract?
