I’m still working through 2022 NFL Draft prospects, but I couldn’t help but notice that this recent mock draft by NFL draft analyst, Chad Reuter was one that I find very exciting. Before we dive into who he has going where, I have to point out, that I’m not confident in the draft working out for the Chicago Bears this way.

We have plenty of time between now and when the actual 2022 NFL Draft happens, and plenty can change between now and then. This is what makes mock drafts so much fun in my opinion. I know some fans get annoyed with the speculation, but as a draft analyst or even someone who covers a specific team, it is important for us to not only dive into each prospect but also to be held accountable. It is too easy to just throw names around.

The Chicago Bears land a big-time player in this 2022 NFL mock draft

As someone who develops his own prospect rankings each year, I like to also get a feel for where I am at compared to others. I refuse to let their rankings or mock drafts influence my projections, but we should never become complacent in our own beliefs on a player to not even consider the thoughts of someone else. This is especially true for me when it comes to some of the smaller schools. Many times one of my colleagues will turn me onto a lesser-known guy. I don’t just take their word though, I do my own research into that player.

In this case, the mock draft by Chad Reuter only covers three rounds. Therefore, don’t expect any names to be on his list that are not considered well-known. Without a first-round pick, we can just skip to the second round.
