1. Germain Ifedi, Chicago Bears OL

The Chicago Bears need help on the offensive line which makes it contradictory to put two linemen at number one and two on the player list. Still, the revamping of the offensive line means moving on from the weaker names and getting some younger, fresher faces inside.

Peters is moving on from age and fit perspective, Germain Ifedi is just dead weight that they do not need to carry. Ryan Pace liked to take chances on former first rounds picks who did not pan out in their first stop. Ifedi got chances at right tackle and right guard, and was not good in either area,

You can talk about the versatility all that you want, but when you are a liability at both, it does not count quite the same.

Next. Projecting Roquan Smith extension. dark

This is a good chance for Ryan Poles to build the offensive line in his image. It means getting rid of players who were dragging the offensive line, and supplementing depth with some of the names he wants.

This is why the team should be active in the draft, but also in the UDFA market on the offensive line.
