6. Marquise Goodwin
Marquise Goodwin is another player who may be questioning his next step in the NFL, not just with the Chicago Bears. Goodwin is seemingly always going to be fast, but there was very little that he put out last year to raise optimism.
Goodwin was signed in 2020 but missed the entire season due to opting out. He came back in 2021 and was still under control with the Chicago Bears. The biggest impact he made is also the biggest reason for him to potentially stay in the NFL.
As a leader in the locker room, he was a guy who did things the right way and showed the way for a younger players such as Darnell Mooney. He also was working before and after practice with Justin Fields.
Still, it never manifested on the field, and his best game came against Baltimore when Andy Dalton hit him deep. Goodwin has a possible role, but it will be up to Poles whether he wants the same thing in a room that should be completely revamped, or if he wants to start fresh with Mooney and a bunch of new faces.
